De Colores Trading Co. was begun as an arm of a nonprofit and became a worker cooperative in 1997. Since taking over, the six worker members have grown the business considerably and are doing over $300,000 a year. De Colores offers handmade creations of native artisans including crafts, jewelry, music, books, and clothing. Proceeds from sales support indigenous families, organizations, and co-operatives from around the world.
Used to be at 218 E Street in E Street Plaza, replaced by Unique Couture.
